CPS kicks off 2025

2025 bursts through the doors and playground of Constantia Primary School. Hugs and Laughter filled the corridors of the school, talks of seasons greetings and family holidays surrounded the opening of a new school year.

Constantia Primary reopened for educators on 13 January 2025, although the holiday went by extremely quickly there was a bursts of excitement for the beginning of more innovation!

Constantia Primary School staff was blessed by Jonkershuis Eatery at Groot Constantia with a breakfast for their orientation and it was a very positive beginning. Their generous hearts were met with grateful hands and we could not have imagined a better way to kick off the 2025 academic year.

Brand new learners entered the gates, while the previous learners skipped happily past the gate, greeting their old teachers and meeting their new ones. All staff helped as we managed the “changeover” for 2025. Administration bared their load, while the teachers ensured a safe and print rich environment for their learners.

Belting out our School Song ‘Constantia” which was launched on the 05 August 2023, the learners sang it proudly at our first school assembly which was led by the school principal, Mr Alastair Adams. He set the tone in the assembly welcoming positive change in the school and encouraging best behaviour practices. All the learners were introduced to the schools new mantra which directly aligns to the schools vision and mission statement:

Constantia Primary School Mantra

I “AIM HIGH” to be a responsible citizen who lives up to the vision and mission of Constantia Primary and excel in academics, sport and culture. I want to rise above expectations to be equipped, educated and empowered. I will be a productive citizen who creates a positive and values driven environment.

We are Constantia Primary and We are Proud.

We are proud of Constantia primary and the strides it has made over the last few years. There is an upward trajectory and it is because of TEAMWORK, LOVE for the learners and above all, VISION.

As 2025 begins, we can reflect on the successes and failures of 2024 and be proud of the lessons that were learned and the positive changes that were made.
